DESCRIPTION:
Clocks- 3 (Three): (1) Brewster & Ingrahams, Bristol, Conn., "Round Gothic" shelf clock now fitted with a Seth Thomas spring driven, 8 day, time and strike movement in a mahogany veneered case, c1848; (2) Forestville Mfg. Co., Forestville, Conn., "Round Gothic" shelf clock now fitted with a Waterbury Clock Co. 8 day spring driven time and strike movement in a ripple front rosewood case, c1850. (3) E. Ingraham & Co.,Bristol, Conn., "Oriental" shelf clock with a spring driven, 8 day, time and strike movement in a rosewood veneered case, c1880.
CONDITION:
(1) The original painted dial and hands are in very good condition. The case has veneer loss in multiple locations; (2) The finish has been lost. The hands are new. One of the four top finials is missing. The glasses are original. There is some veneer damage. The ripple molding is in very good condition. (3) There is veneer loss in several areas. The dial and hands are correct. ***NOTE*** The dimensions are for clock number 2.
